Tuesday evenings are a regular work night.  Please call ahead to let us know you are coming.  Come when you can and work as long as you wish. We begin about 6pm and work until 10pm or later.

It takes many hands to keep a store this size running and to keep up with the bountiful donations. There are ways to volunteer your time and talents even if you cannot come into the store on a regular basis. Please check our list below to see if you can help with any of our needs. In store-needs:

Can you help us any Monday through Thursday afternoon?

Monday through Thursday the Wise Penny is open until 6pm.  Due to this extension of hours, we are in need of volunteers to help from 3:30pm - 6:15pm. Ideally we need 3 - 4 individuals who would arrive at 3:30pm and run the store until 6:00pm assisting customers, running the cash register, pricing clothing/household items and more. Please let Lanita know if you could be a part of one of these teams (612-310-5418).

Can you help us on Fridays or Saturdays?

Fridays and Saturdays are days when we are in need of additional help. It makes a great family outing to volunteer at the Wise Penny. Contact Lanita if you are interested in learning more about volunteering. (612-310-5418).

Can you become a Department Lead?

--work at the store at least twice/month at your convenience
--organize & straighten your department's merchandise
